行車資訊：

由丹佛沿US-6 W西行至Golden下交流道改走I-70 W朝Grand Jct西行，0.9哩後由Exit 260下交流道改走CO-470 E朝Colorado Springs南下；CO-470南行5.7哩後下交流道改走US-285 S朝Fairplay西南行；US-285西南行約46.9哩抵達Kenosha Pass，路左有大停車場，若左轉沿石子路續行約0.1哩可抵登山口停車場，該停車場有廁所，但場地較小，旺季停車不易。

登高山湖泊Silver Dollar Lake and Murray Lake(2014.09.20)

Silver Dollar Lake和Murray Lake是Guanella Pass景觀道路沿線旁的兩個高山湖，位在Guanella Pass Campground西邊約兩哩多的高山山谷中，兩個湖相距約0.5哩，三面剛好被三座高山環繞著；南邊是Square Top Mountain (13,794呎/4,204公尺)、西邊是Argentine Peak (13,738呎/4,187公尺)、北邊則為Mount Wilcox (13,408呎/4,087公尺)。該兩座湖七年前就曾陪同家人前去攀登，當年小外孫貝貝年僅四歲，日前趁和太座、貝貝到Guanella Pass觀賞白楊木(Aspen)之便再度攀登該兩湖。

攀登湖泊
Silver Dollar Lake：海拔 11,950呎(3,642公尺)，距第一登山口2.35哩
Murray Lake：海拔12,150呎(3,703公尺)，距第一登山口2.85哩
爬升高度：淨爬升1,270呎(387公尺)，總爬升高度約1,500呎(457公尺)
登山里程：5.7哩(9.17公里)

行車資訊：
從丹佛沿I-70州際公路西行，在Exit 228下交流道進入小鎮Georgetown，由Georgetown Visitor Center一路沿“Guanella Pass”南行；9.5哩抵Guanella Pass Campground，再行0.1哩遇右岔Naylor Lake Road，右轉Naylor Lake Road立即抵達Silver Dollar and Murray Lake第一登山口，小車停此，但車位很少(六七部左右)，在右轉Naylor Lake Road之前道路左側另有一較大停車場。四傳車輛可沿Naylor Lake Road土石路續行0.7哩抵達第二停車場。
步程簡述：
印象中Naylor Lake Road路況不佳，所以我們將車停在第一登山口，開始步行上山，事後發現路況改善很多，四傳車輛開到第二登山口輕而易舉，可省下0.7哩且有點陡的路程。
11:50 第一登山口出發，海拔約10,880呎(3,316公尺)，沿著Naylor Lake Road西行，一開始路好陡，下個馬威，沿路林間幾處營地有人在露營。

12:12 抵達第二登山口，海拔約11,200呎(3,414公尺)，距第一登山口約0.7哩，路旁空地蠻大的，可停不少車子；道路續行通往Naylor Lake，那是一座私人湖泊勿進，Silver Dollar and Murray Lake第二登山口左岔小徑上山。

小徑先在松林間穿行一陣子後便穿越森林線，一路在Square Top Mountain北坡下爬升，偶而是岩石坡，偶而是高可及腰的willow樹叢，沿途俯瞰右側山坡下的私人湖泊Naylor Lake；此段山徑坡度不大，走來蠻舒服的。

13:30 抵達第一個湖泊Silver Dollar Lake，海拔 11,950呎(3,642公尺)，距第一登山口約2.35哩，她安詳的躺臥在海拔13,794呎(4,204公尺)的Square Top Mountain北坡下；休息一陣子太座還沒抵達，貝貝開玩笑地說阿嬤會不會卡在剛才的willow樹叢中過不來了！

Silver Dollar Lake 

13:40 續往Murray Lake，Murray Lake距Silver Dollar Lake約有半哩路，爬升約250呎，我和貝貝從Silver Dollar Lake的北岸沿小徑稍往西北爬升，沒多久即抵達Silver Dollar Lake的北岸稜線，海拔約12,200呎(3,719公尺)，Murray Lake就在北邊幾十呎的稜線下。

14:04 下抵Murray Lake，海拔12,150呎(3,703公尺)，距第一登山口約2.85哩；此湖比Silver Dollar Lake小了一點，我和貝貝在湖邊繞一繞後下山，太座應該在Silver Dollar Lake等我們。

15:04 返抵Silver Dollar Lake，太座已在湖邊等候我們，稍作休息後一起下山。
15:50 抵達第二登山口，我叫貝貝在此等阿嬤，我下山開車上來接他們，可少走一點路。
16:00 半跑半走下抵達第一登山口，然後開車上第二登山口接太座及貝貝下山返家；下山途中才知道剛才在Guanella Pass下了一場不小的冰雹，厚厚的一層，乍看之下還以為是下雪呢！
