2017科羅拉多白楊木(Aspen)賞葉行-- East Portal Trailhead(2017.09.14)

East Portal Trailhead登山口位在小鎮Rollinsville西邊約7.8哩處，登山口旁的火車隧道Moffat Tunnel是屬於Union Pacific Railroad穿越落磯山脈火車隧道的東入口；很喜歡從Rollinsville 到登山口這段路，有鐵道、有小河、有村莊、有草原，當火車汽笛從山谷中傳來，然後緩緩穿過草原上的牛群時，就是有那麼一種不同的感覺；前幾天特地前往走訪正值白楊木葉子轉黃，美不勝收。

 登山口行車指南：

 從Boulder走Boulder Canyon Road(CO 119)西行，16哩後抵Nederland小鎮，接Peak To Peak景觀公路(CO 119, CO 72)南下，行4.8哩抵Rollinsville，右轉E. Portal road (Rollins Pass)西行，約7.8哩後行車終點(Moffat Tunnel)即為登山口，此處是Union Pacific Railroad火車隧道的東入口。

 E. Portal road ( Rollins Pass )自Rollinsville起一路沿著鐵路及South Boulder Creek西行，雖然是條未鋪柏油的石子路面，但因路面寬敞且紮實平坦，適合各種車輛通行。
